Overall Summary

The results of the 2024 Eli Broad College of Business Climate Survey highlight both strengths and areas that require improvement. Comparisons between the data collected in 2022 and 2024 indicate that the college has made progress in enhancing its climate and culture in several areas. However, it has also idenfied a few areas where there has been a decline. While it is expected that there will be differences between demographic groups, some variaons in atudes, experiences, and percepons may indicate real differences in the populaon that cannot be solely aributed to underrepresentaon or overrepresentaon. Many of the differences observed are related to gender, sexual identy, and race-ethnicity. Some findings are posive, parcularly regarding women and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. The negave differences idenfied should be viewed as a starng point for making improvements or adjustments, rather than as a cause for alarm. Overall, employees reported similar levels of sasfacon with the climate at both the university (70.0%) and the college (69.6%).
