Students Feeling Valued Outside Classroom

Students were also asked to indicate their level of agreement with statements measuring how valued they feel by members of the university community outside the classroom. The levels of agreement were 75.0% or higher for faculty instructors, other faculty members, staff instructors, college administrators, and college mentors and advisors—all individuals with whom students are likely to have repeat interacons. The highest level of agreement was on the item measuring feeling valued by other students, at 80.5%, while the lowest was for campus police, with a 63.8% level of agreement.
