Table 8.2 and Table 8.3 show the results by demographic group. This data shows: • Men reported slightly higher rates of experiencing discrimina on, at 6.5%, compared to women at 4.0% when asked the general yes/no ques on. However, when using the computed variable, 31.8% of women and 26.0% of men reported experiencing discrimina on. • The most common forms of discrimina on experienced by women included sex discrimina on at 13.0%, followed by racial or ethnic discrimina on at 9.8%. For men, the most frequent type of discrimina on was based on poli cal orienta on, at 12.6%. On average, women experienced 2.72 different forms of discrimina on, while men experienced 3.66.
