Table 8.2 and Table 8.3 show the results by demographic group. This data shows: • Men reported slightly higher rates of experiencing discriminaon, at 6.5%, compared to women at 4.0% when asked the general yes/no queson. However, when using the computed variable, 31.8% of women and 26.0% of men reported experiencing discriminaon. • The most common forms of discriminaon experienced by women included sex discriminaon at 13.0%, followed by racial or ethnic discriminaon at 9.8%. For men, the most frequent type of discriminaon was based on polical orientaon, at 12.6%. On average, women experienced 2.72 different forms of discriminaon, while men experienced 3.66.
