When analyzing survey items that specifically measure diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), some notable differences emerge between groups. Students from schools where they were a part of a racial or ethnic minority were more likely to find communies or groups in the college where they feel a sense of belonging. Addionally, they perceive that college places appropriate emphasis on DEI issues. However, these students are less favorable in their assessment of the college's overall commitment to DEI and believe that the college does not have sufficient programs and resources to support a diverse student body.
