Priya Balasubramaniam VP of Operations at Apple (MBA ’01) She hopes the DWLA will guide other women students. She said this endeavor is all about “making sure young women are geared up to be intentional and have purpose in what they do, and then taking what they learn and achieve and give it back to society. They can be a force multiplier.” -Priya

“My most favorite leaders are great at uniting people for a common cause. Whether it is to learn about a new topic, or build certain skills, great leaders know what they can provide to their group and how to provide it. Great leaders are also great listeners. They work with their peers to help them achieve their goals and keep in touch with the group they are leading. They know when to step back and let others bring their own talents to the group and support and uplift them. ” -Ella

I look up to leaders who genuinely listen, value different perspectives, and create real connections with their team. I also admire those who set clear goals and follow through on their promises- it’s inspiring when someone truly leads by example. Most importantly, I believe great leaders stay humble, take accountability, and always focus on what’s best for the group. These are the traits I strive to bring into my own leadership at MSU and beyond.” -Ennalyse
